My blog title, The Pause That Refreshes, was a slogan created and used by Coca-Cola in 1929. When I was growing up, my mother always used the phrase in the midst of rousing and successful shopping expeditions, just as we would sit down and eat something small and delicious, all the while beaming at our purchases and each other.
My blog header was made using a free font called Amandine, designed by Philippe Blondel for dafont.com.
